Hi, my system is windows XP and i hope my system is affected with Virus how to remove that?

Please note i have been searching for that File but i am not able to get the file, When i search it shows there is no file existing



Every time when i am Opening the Internet i will get the below message

You need to run the Linkoptimizer removal tool from here: http://www.symantec.com/security_respons...



Read the instructions carefully (it is best to print them out) and follow them meticulously. If you are on a standalone computer, you probably have Admin rights. If you are logging on to a network, work with your Network Manager to ensure that the trojan is cleared from all PCs on the network.



You may need to start the PC in Safe Mode. Holding down F8 as Windows starts will allow you to do that. Alternatively, from the Start menu, choose Run, type msconfig and press Enter. You will see an option to start in Safe mode. Select that and restart the PC. Then follow the instructions you printed out (having downloaded the tool, of course).
