Norton AV exceptions?

How do I stop my Norton anti-virus from deleting some files on my computer. I have some trojan programs that are safe to use because I know how to use them. Every time I want to use them I need to disable Auto-Protect and extract them from an archive. How could I tell Norton AV to not delete these files?

Thank you

You can only exclude directories for scans, you cannot tell Norton to ignore certain trojans when they execute in memory. Best solution is to do your virus work in a virtual machine, that doesn't have Norton installed.
