Actually Norton or any other anti-virus software shall not stop popping up telling you that you have a virus on your computer. When a virus enters your computer, dialog boxes of our A/V will pop-up and tell that you have a virus and asks you what are you going to do so.

This ain't going to stop unless you get rid of the virus. You can delete it by the Norton or delete it manually, but usually it's in a System File, so delete at your own risk...

If nothing else works try to reformat the PC.

Like the others said, STOP going to sites that have viruses. IE, "Game", "Fun", "porn", etc...50% of thoes sites contain Malware of some kind.

I use the following for my computer.

I have hears of many prople having trouble with Norton and the other 'pay' programs.

First dileat "Norton" as 2 anti virus cannot run at the same time.

I use all of the following Free software with Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer with MSN toolbar and the pop-up blocker turned on and have never had a single problem with my computer sense Microsoft came out with SP2. (knock on wood.) (And be sure to keep Windows and the following software Updated)
