norton comes up and says its auto protect has found a trojan horse and it stops the program ans says that i'm now secure?I know counter strike isn't a virus. how do i stop these warnings?

It's possible that something has either infected your CS launcher or you are getting a false-positive from your anti virus.
Download the following:
Search %26 Destroy - Application to scan for spyware, adware, hijackers and other malicious software. Make sure to download all of the newest updates before scanning.
If spybot doesnt find anything then it must be your anti-virus, find the option to safelist CS so that it stops blocking it.

Well you can exclude the file or even the whole directory from being scanned. You'd have to look in your options for your specific programs way to do this. Before you did this though I would verify that you don't have a problem. Verify that there is a known issue with that file being detected improperly before you just exclude it from future scans or you could be opening your PC up to be hacked.
