i have 2 problems number one is some times when i start up the computer auto protect isnt working and it says it has an error i restart and it works? i think thats weird lol
number 2 is when i run live update their is one update i cant do it is a symatec security software update in side this is syknapps module when ever i try to download the update it just says failed can any one help ?

why don't you try uninstalling Norton's and then reinstalling it, you can remove Norton's from the add/remove programs in the control panel in the start menu, it sounds like some of the Norton's component's haven't been downloaded properly, or perhaps you have accidentally deleted them, anyway your Norton's program doesn't sound stable in its present configuration

I would suggest checking the Norton/Symantec web site or googling for a solution
Contact Symantec (norton makers) tech support and they'll help as best they can. They replied to me twice within 24hours which is pretty good.
