NORTON vs AVG vs KAPERSKY vs AVAST !?

Between norton , avg , kapersky , avast and other antivirus software , give me their pros and cons (what is good , what is bad ) ....... also give me suggestion on which is the best antivirus software in term of speed , safety , performance and quality ........ Suggest any new antivirus software to me if you have one ..... TQ

Norton:

Some people say it stinks. Some swear by it as the most secure and hardest to crack AV's around.

1 thing we all can agree on: Its bloated and uses too much resources.

Verdict: Avoid.

AVG Professional Single Edition (commercial and free):

Longtime users and newbies will tell you that its simply the best and had no viruses with it. But thats because it doesnt detect any to start with. Google up "AVG sucks" and you'll see why.

Verdict: Stay away from it.

Kaspersky:

Kaspersky remains one of the top five antiviruses and security suites around, and currently its just as popular as BitDefender, PC-Cillin and ZoneAlarm.

Cnet also voted it as Editors Pick of 2008 and 2006, so i'll leave it to the pro's judgement. Kaspersky also has a dedicated forum that is moderated by certified Kaspersky engineers, so it has a fairly good community and knowledge base.

Verdict: Good antivirus.
