We know who the drug-dealers are, we know who the gun-toters are, we know who the burglars are and the auto-thieves in our communities. So why can't we take the laws into our own hands. It seems the police can't do much. The laws protect the criminals more than it does the victims. If there was a vigilante group in my community, I would be very tempted to join. PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME THAT RHETORIC ABOUT ME BEING AS BAD AS THE CRIMINALS BS.

I keep wondering about this, laws are supposed to monitor the way we behave in society, in order to have peace. Unfortunately laws have been twisted by crooks and even more crooked lawyers. I'm sure doing away with the scum of society is tempting, especially when they keep getting away with it, but I conclude that I probably could not live with myself if I did.

Get a few really good taggers to put on an advertising campaign where-ever these people operate. For instance; If a drug dealer has a special spot(and they all do),TAG him with an advert. It should read something like---Need a good BUZZ?See so and so right here at such and such a time.Quality dope at reasonable prices.Post this type of stuff and they will soon disappear,Hopefully.Worth a try?Luck to you,"Link"
anarchy! there would be anarchy! Actually, by definition, when a society matures to the point that law enforcement is no longer required because justice is taken care of by social conscience via the citizens, that is an anarchy. people often mistake it for lawlessness when in fact it's quite to opposite. Unfortunately, I doubt that there's any society on the planet which is that mature and it's citizens that socially conscience.
Cops and other public servants get paid whether they make a real effort or not. Anarchy won't work. Our government is too embedded. There's always Dial-A-Snitch (Crimestoppers), but that's chancy, too, as the criminal justice system protects nobody.
