I would like to add music to Windows Movie Maker as well as Muvee Auto Producer. Windows Movie Maker doesn't recognize the file format and Muvee Auto Producer can't get the songs because they are copy protected. What's the point of purchasing songs if I can't use them? I have read that you can re-rip the song, but haven't seen anything on how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How do I convert itunes to a windows format?liveupdate
To get around the copy protection, use iTunes to burn the songs that you need to use. Then, rip that CD using Windows Media Player. Just put the CD in the drive, open up Windows Media Player, and click on the Rip tab. Before you rip though, go to Tools --%26gt; Options and click on Rip Music. Make sure under "Format", mp3 is chosen, or else you'll just end up with another copy protected file. Find the new files that you just ripped (with .mp3 extension) and use those in the program you were trying to use. You'll have two copies of the song now, one with copy protection, one without.
