I used to use AVG but they want to start charging. My broadband provider does not provide free of charge. Can anyone recommend a free virus checker for Outlook Express 6? Avast use their own server isp no. and it just doesn't connect.

As far as I am aware, AVG is still free.

Yahoo does scan attachments before you download them or upload.
I keep being told there is still a free AVG, its just not that easy to find on the website!

Yahoo does have an option to scan an attatchment; they use Norton. That means if you scan your mails as well and use a different anti virus you're more likely to pick up any problems.
