My antivirus wont let me play the game i just bought... do i have to uninstall the antivirus to play

like, i bought lineage yesterday. and when i was going to try it for the very first time, the damn norton antivirus wont let me play it because it "thinks" that a part of the game is a virus. but it isn't. so i tried turning "auto-protect" off. but it was exactly the same thing. it just doesn't let me play the game. my friend said he had to uninstall his antivirus (wich was AVG, mine is Norton by the way). well i was wondering, i paid to get my antivirus so if i uninstall it i would have to pay for it again %26gt;=(

so anyone who has norton antivirus: is it possible to just turn it REALLY off so that it were the same thing has if it weren't there?

and if i uninstall it, will it disappear completely from the computer and i won't be able to install it again?

open norton and go to anti virus settings and turn off the antivirus while you play or make it an exception so the game can be played while the anti virus is on.

all done in anti virus options aka configuring.
